MalaceHR is seeking an Electrician to work with School District in Lakewood, NJ.

The Electrician II will install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated AC and DC electrical and electronic controls. Must hold a NJ Electrical Contractors License and Electricians License for the state of NJ.

Job Summary

• Troubleshoot circuitry, install and repair branch circuits up to 230 volts.
  - Install and replace 277 volt switches, fuses, light fixtures and current breakers
  - Remove and install motors up to 480 volts
  - Read and record meter readings
  - Maintain and service (PM) all emergency generators
  - Maintain and repair all site lighting.

Physical work requirements and work conditions

• Lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Working from heights.
• Frequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
• Working in adverse conditions (i.e., extreme cold, extreme hot).
• Driving for long periods of time.
• Climbing a ladder with a 300 lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.
• Climbing a ladder up to 30 feet.
