We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tank Technician / Mechanic - Semi Trailers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing a variety of tank trailers, including ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. Responsibilities:

• Inspect and perform maintenance and repairs to meet Department of Transportation regulations.

• Perform repairs on R-stamped tanks.

• Weld aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon materials to a high standard.

• Inspect and service air brake lines, couplers, tanks, valves, shoes, drums, pads, and rotors. Adjust and/or replace components as needed.

• Inspect and maintain low voltage wiring couplers, harnesses, lights, batteries, and charging systems. Adjust and/or replace components as needed.

• Inspect body and chassis rails, side-sheets, caps, doors, retainers, fasteners, floors, and plates for damage or defects. Perform metal and wood carpentry tasks to repair/replace, along with sheet metal and paint work to finishes.

• Inspect, operate, lubricate, and repair lift gates, including minor mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of tank technician experience.

• 3+ years of welding experience; formal training is a plus.

• Must have a personal set of hand tools.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• R Stamp tank repair qualifications (preferred).

• Knowledge of flatbeds, drop decks, dry vans, 12-volt systems, air systems, and vapor systems.

• Any certifications related to tank repair or semi-trailer mechanics are a plus.
